BRV Resort is worth staying at. It has a clean swimming pool, bonfire, and a party hall with laser lights and a DJ, along with comfortable beds and awesome views. The food was amazing, healthy, hygienic, and home-like. One of the best resorts I've ever visited.

The view from the hotel and every room is mesmerizing, and that's what made it feel worth the money. It's about 5km from kempty fall, so having your own vehicle works fine. The mountain setting means you may find jungle flies or mosquitoes. I had an okay stay. Room service was okay, though there were no other guests while I was there. The food is very costly, so it may be better to pack something from nearby and eat in the room. They charge a lot for rooms, so bargain and you can get one in the medium range. Never book through Oyo. They don't accept bookings from OYO or any other forums, saying they don't have a laptop or computer to check them. You'll need to go there and book in person or call them.

The resort is about 27 km from Mussoorie city, and it was very hot, around 30 to 35'C in July. If you're going to Mussoorie and kempty fall for the hills, this place is the opposite, down in the valley and too hot. Even going to kempty, you have to park 2.5 km before it because the road is one way, and the resort is on the opposite side. The pool water quality was poor, with no permanent way to fill it. When I asked them to replace the water, they said there was no water in the tanki, even though they were using insecticides to kill germs. My son is still suffering from skin diseases because of that. The package included meals, but they didn't serve a buffet, only table service when I ordered. They were very slow, even in the middle of lunch. After dinner, I asked about dessert and they said it wasn't available. After a lot of discussion, they agreed and served one spoon of ice cream to each of us after 15 min. When I asked for more for the kids, they refused and said, 'yahi thi aur nahi milage.' Snacks there are very costly, and there aren't any other options. Please take care if you're planning to visit.

The best part was the short walk to the Yamuna bridge, about 4 km away. There’s a small stream beneath it, and getting there makes for a pleasant little trek if you enjoy walking. The food we tried was tasty and reasonably priced, though the dining choices are limited. The resort is out on the outer Kempty Road in Mussoorie, so I’d only go if there aren’t other options. One staff member, who seemed to be the manager, was rude and refused our requests by blaming management. We hadn’t booked ahead, and I got the impression he knew we had nowhere else to go. He even refused to let us take a photo with some children’s bikes stored in a shed, saying he had to return them that night. Oddly, the food server in the tents was really sweet and made up for the manager’s attitude.

We left for another hotel on Mall Road even though we’d already paid for this booking. In the rush, we forgot our Brews mobile charger and a pair of branded slippers there. I’m asking V resort authority to courier those things to me and refund the payment for the stay we didn’t use. This really isn’t a suitable place for families, and it doesn’t deserve even one star. The location is far from the main Mall Road, down in the valley where it was too hot. If you’re coming to Mussourie for the hills, this is the opposite of what you want. Our tour operator, Praveen chawan from trip_ho_jaye, didn’t bother to tell us that. Since the resort is so remote, management should have checked in with us when we hadn’t arrived on the expected day. Instead, there was no coordination with V resort authority, and the staff didn’t know we were coming when we checked in. Food was very expensive, and there was nowhere else nearby to eat. They charged us 700 for a simple kadhi khichdhi. The geyser in our room didn’t work, so they told us to use another room to bathe. On the second day, a bachelor’s birthday party was planned there, with men, drinks, a DJ, and all the arrangements. When we asked the staff about the group, their cook Parveen said, “inka Kya he, peg maarke swimming pool me padhe rahenge”.
