Hotel Vasundhara Palace Rishikesh

The restaurant became our regular place to eat, at least once a day, and the food was solid. We especially liked the vegetable chowman with extra cabbage, green salad, and sweet corn soup. Vegetable biryani and all the parpadums were good, as was bhindi do pyaza. The honey pancake was just like roti with honey, and the vegetable fried rice was a bit bland. We’d skip the margarita pizza, which came with olives and didn’t look or taste appetizing, and the hot and sour soup, which wasn’t as good as the Chinese version. For a better view, choose a room facing the mountain rather than the road. The third floor has a fantastic bridge view and is the calmest option. The first-floor rooms are nicer, but room 101 is next to the kitchen and very loud. You can hear chairs moving in the room above, too. The fridge in our room was noisy, so I unplugged it.

We were 11 people on a pilgrimage and had a lovely two-night stay at Vasundhara Palace. Janki Jhula Bridge, Janki Setu, and the river area are all within walking distance. The hotel is new, well maintained, and has a clean, spacious feel throughout. Our rooms were roomy and clean, with all amenities. The modern toilets, spotless towels and linen, comfortable showers, cozy beds, and comfortable chairs made for a pleasant stay. Room service was quick and prompt. Breakfast was included and had plenty of variety and options. The restaurant served delicious food, both indoors and in the open-air seating area. The decor is modern, and the common areas are kept tidy. Staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. Reception, room service, and restaurant service were all excellent, making the whole visit comfortable. Highly recommended for a stay in Rishikesh.

After nearly 24 hours of travel, we arrived late when most places to eat were closed. The staff at Vasundhara still made sure we had a proper meal at 10:30 p.m. before bed. The food was excellent, and the staff went out of their way to help. The hotel is about 100-150 m from Mother Ganga and a short walk from the river. Its rooms and amenities have been updated, and the staff are welcoming and always willing to lend a hand. I also met the manager, Mrs. Surbhi Sood, who was very accommodating and helpful. A great place to stay in Rishikesh.

We stayed at Hotel Vasundhara in a quiet area near the river, and the calm surroundings made it a relaxing place to enjoy Rishikesh. Our room was spacious, clean, well maintained, and had a lovely view. The food was fresh and tasty, and the whole atmosphere suited families or anyone wanting a peaceful stay. Kavyansh and Vivek were especially polite and supportive, and their excellent service made us more comfortable. It was a memorable, easy stay, and I’d recommend Hotel Vasundhara to visitors.
