The Greenwood, Tezpur

Lunch at Aroma was really good. Bikash served us and was courteous and very accommodating, especially with my kids. Five-star service. The stay itself was amazing.

At Hotel Greenwood Tezpur, I had a fantastic stay. The comfortable rooms, delicious food, and great service made it all top-notch. Everyone on the team was warm and hospitable, and they went above and beyond to make my visit perfect. Highly recommend! 👍

The location is convenient for a Kaziranga visit or exploring Tezpur, and the hotel offers good value. It's also a comfortable place to unwind after a long day, with clean, thoughtfully designed rooms. The property is extremely well maintained, with a calm, pleasant atmosphere that's great for relaxing. Staff were genuinely warm, courteous, and ready to help, and service was prompt and professional. The food stood out too, freshly prepared, delicious, and varied. Highly recommended for a leisure trip or short stay. I'll definitely return!

There was no reliable internet for most of our two-night stay, and the lack of hot water in December was shocking. We called several times asking them to turn on the boiler. After leaving the water running for nearly 30 min, we finally got lukewarm water. Other reviews have mentioned this same problem. The staff seemed clueless and kept giving the usual evasive answers until we gave up. The room itself was decent, but the pricing was hard to accept. I booked through greenwood’s website and paid 11,600 rupees per night, while the published rate when we arrived was 7500 rupees per room. There was no explanation or adjustment. After escalating the matter, we spoke with the AGM, Mr. Ansari, who listened and promised a response. I'll leave this review up without editing it until I hear back and the billing issue is corrected. I'm happy to give a higher rating if the problems are acknowledged and fixed for me and future guests.
