OYO 22660 U B Resort

We were students there to take exams, and the environment at the hotel wasn't good. They strongly forced us out at 6:00 am and threw our bags out of the OYO rooms. Hotel grand plaza highway had no manners in how to treat customers, and they abused us. I stayed there for one night on 11 june 2022. They charged Rs 1300 but didn't provide AC, and their behavior was very bad. I felt they were cheating customers. In Meerut, there's another OYO hotel beside OYO 22660 U B resort, called "Hotel grand plaza highway." My experience is that OYO hotels are designed for unmarried couples who visit for 3-5 hours to enjoy themselves.

The food was okay, but there were no basic amenities: no security, no water supply, no TV, and the beds were poor, with dirty sheets bearing footprints. The bathrooms were unhygienic. The hotel is dangerous for girls because there's no proper security. We booked by accident while attending a convention at Subarthi college. The person who maintains the hotel is also its manager and owner, and he does all the work himself. Please never book this hotel, even in an emergency. Overall, a big zero.

Despite the resort name, this is really a boys’ hostel and hangout spot. It can work well as cheap accommodation for boys staying near the colleges, especially Subharti, whether for a short visit or a longer stay.

You can get a room here overnight at a low rate, and it’s somewhere to hang out with friends. Just don’t expect an actual resort. I’d say it’s mainly suited to boys.
