Hotel Satkar Residency

The restaurant, especially Palates on the 2nd floor, has a nice range of cuisines and dishes. Portions are adequate, and the food quality has stayed consistent for quite a few years. It’s a good business hotel, with well-appointed rooms and a central location in Thane city.

All the guests had a lovely time and enjoyed the food and drinks, even though the turnout was 25% above our original estimate. Everything was ready on time, and the catering staff stayed polite and helpful. Mr. Tushar personally supervised details until the end. We had booked the Poolside 4th floor terrace banquet hall for our son’s wedding reception. From booking through the event, banquet managers Mr. Jayaram, Mr. Tushar, and Mr. Lobo were very helpful. We discussed menu choices and had tasting sessions until we were happy with the dishes. We also shared a recipe to suit our needs, which Mr. Lobo suggested and accepted, and he made sure it met our expectations. Mr. Ashok B from Awaj decorators was patient in explaining the setup and other details. It was a very good experience and a memorable day for us all.

The room, food, ambience, and location were all perfect. Rajesh at reception made it especially good. I arrived before check-in and asked if an early room might be possible. He suggested I have breakfast first if I hadn’t already, while he checked whether he could fit us in. When I came back, the room was ready. One of my best stays, and I’d gladly come again.

The starters and other dishes tasted good, though the main course could be better. The ambience was nice, and the staff were welcoming and polite. Overall, my visit to Hotel Satkar Residency was pleasant.
