The Byke Suraj Plaza Veg Hotel

The rooms were the one good part: clean, spacious, and with a nice ambience. Service was poor, though. Nobody seemed interested in helping, and staff didn't seem to know their own services. There's no valet after 10 pm. At Farm fresh, staff couldn't even be bothered to bring water, breakfast plates had dead insects, and the food was stale and cold, as was the tea. Very disappointing customer service. At checkout, the valet took a while to bring the car. When we went to check, he couldn't drive it but wasn't telling us. We might have had damage to the vehicle if we hadn't gone to see. There's a lot that needs improvement.

I was here for four days, and the location was the only real redeeming feature. A few room service staff were polite and helpful, but the service overall left a lot to be desired. We were told the room could have just two water bottles per day, with a charge for any more. Basic drinking water shouldn't feel like a premium service. Breakfast was a letdown too, and didn't meet the mark for something I usually look forward to.

The lift collapsed while we were inside, dropping from the ground floor to the basement. Thankfully, we survived. Management didn't seem to know about it or care enough to do anything. The food was the worst I've ever seen, and staff were off in their own world. This is a death trap, not a hotel. Avoid staying here if you want to survive and don't want to waste your money. Owner, change the management before the hotel shuts down for good.

I went with my ladies group for a Women's Day buffet lunch. The food and service were excellent. Deepak was especially good, looking after us in every way and offering discounts. Highly recommended.
