Hotel Kabani International

The security guard on duty looked unhygienic, with a messy, unwashed uniform, and appeared not to have bathed in days. For a 4-star property, I expected more professionalism. First impressions matter, especially for safety and security, and the security staff was a major letdown.

The location is really convenient, close to the private bus stand. My room was very clean, and reception was quick to help. I called in the morning to ask if someone could buy me biscuits to have with my tea, and two packets arrived within 10 minutes. Breakfast is complimentary, and the restaurant food is fine.

We waited a very long time despite the restaurant not being crowded, and it was hard to get a waiter’s attention. Staff brought glasses from other tables when we asked for water, without any hygiene check, which felt unpleasant. They served the food and left without checking if we needed anything else. Soup came without pepper powder or basic accompaniments, while fried rice had no sauces; we had to ask repeatedly for them. The food itself was below average. We clearly ordered Gobi Manchurian dry, but got the gravy version instead. Prices are high, and the quality and experience don’t justify the cost. The service, hygiene and food were disappointing, so I wouldn’t recommend dining here.

At a baptism function, we had a very poor experience with the catering at Kabani Restaurant. Portions were extremely limited, and when we asked for more, the server rudely told us to finish what was already on our plates first. It felt like they were deliberately restricting the food to avoid leftovers. The service lacked basic courtesy and hospitality, and it was embarrassing for our guests. I wouldn’t trust this place to host an important family function.
