The staff are cooperative and helpful, and there’s a decent amount of roadside parking right by the hotel. It sits on a slope, so expect to walk up a few stairs, as is common in the hills. The rooms have good valley views and are good for the price, and the food is good too. It’s right beside the highway, a handy night stop if you’re traveling onward, or a quiet place in the middle of nowhere.

Good value for the price. The rooms are clean and spacious, with a nice view and decent food. The bathrooms are roomy too, and the water pressure was excellent.

Waking up to the sunrise over the hills from my balcony was a highlight of my stay at Hotel Taj View in Theog. The panoramic mountain scenery is stunning, and the location makes it easy to get away into nature while still having the comfort of a luxury stay. The restaurant has a good variety, and the dishes were flavorful and expertly prepared. I especially enjoyed the local Himachali food. The rooms were spacious, well furnished, and maintained, with all the modern amenities I could ask for. Staff were warm, attentive, and quick to help, which made me feel at home. Hotel Taj View brings together mountain scenery, comfort, and hospitality, and I’d recommend it for a rejuvenating getaway.
