Klov Resort & Spa

The natural streams, charming pool, and variety of plants and wildlife make this a lovely place to stay. Klov is in a calm, cool, peaceful setting in Thirunelli, with well-kept mud cottages, apartments, and a conference arena. The staff were very helpful, and the food was good. Special thanks to the chefs and staff. It seems well suited to families or professionals planning meetings. Many thanks to the owners, Mr.Muraleedharan Nair and Mrs.Geeta Nair, for keeping the place so serene and beautiful.

The beautiful Kalindi river runs beside the resort, and I could have spent the whole day there. I stayed for three days and two nights and came away feeling peaceful after a really amazing experience. I liked the property, the service, and the delicious food.

The team made the stay memorable with their warm, attentive service. We also really enjoyed the restaurant and its food. Klov Valley Resort is beautifully maintained and a pleasure to explore, with lush jungle around it that makes the atmosphere feel instantly relaxing. It was a refreshing stay, and I'd happily recommend it for a peaceful getaway.

The employees were the standout for me, genuinely nice people rather than putting on an act like staff at some other resorts I've experienced. The rooms have a different architectural style from the usual resort pattern, and the place sits by the quiet forest edge near Thirunelli temple in Northern Wayanad. The thick forest is lovely, but don't expect to see animals here. Elephants are kept away by an electric fence. There's a small pool, though the nearby stream is a nicer natural option and a pool isn't really needed here. I noticed two drawbacks. On one day, perhaps because of the wind, kitchen exhaust and food smells reached some areas. They could direct it away from the residential areas. Also, during Christmas the trees were decorated with artificial lights, which didn't suit the natural surroundings.
