We spent four nights here, and it was a highlight of our trip. The hosts were helpful and flexible about our dietary needs, and the food was plentiful and absolutely delicious. There are lovely walks around the camp along the edge of the Wayanad reserve, and our hosts happily came along to point out birds and other wildlife. The rooms were comfortable, with a roomy sitting area outside, and the place was a peaceful haven full of birds. We’d love to come back.

The meals were delicious, every one of them, and the whole stay felt relaxing and comfortable. Tennel Jungle Camp is surrounded by forest and nature, with such a peaceful, refreshing atmosphere. We left with lovely memories.

Anas and Fatima made us feel very welcome and were accommodating, and the service was top notch throughout. We spent two days at Thennal Jungle camp and loved how quiet and peaceful it was for wildlife lovers. I’m into birdwatching and photography, and there were all kinds of birds in the gardens. The restaurant food was fresh and tasty. A naturalist kindly took us on birdwatching tours, and they also arranged a safari where we saw wild elephants and deer. It’s a great place to step away from everyday city life if you love nature. We’d recommend it to friends and family. Thanks to everyone at Thennal Jungle Camp.

The staff were very cordial, and our rooms were clean. My family and I stayed at Thennal jungle camp while visiting Thirunelli for the rituals marking the first death anniversary of my mother. They prepared the food we had requested, and even though it was a solemn occasion, we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. I’d recommend it if you want to be close to nature.
