Hotel East Coast

I’d already told East Coast I would arrive around 4 am. When I got there, nobody answered the numbers listed by the front door, and nobody opened it. I had a very bad experience with the service.

This is my third stay here, and the first two were good. This time was extremely disappointing, even though it’s budget friendly. The room was cramped and dusty, with no airflow. We couldn’t keep the windows open because of mosquitoes, and the fan was painfully slow in the heat. At night the power went out about ten times, and there’s no automatic generator. We asked to change rooms, but no one listened. It was so humid. I won’t stay here again.

This old hotel is less than 1 km from Vellayambalam Junction. The rooms aren’t fancy, and you should bring soap and a shower turkey, but they’re spacious. The old AC and TV both worked perfectly. Even though the hotel is only 20metre from the highway, there was surprisingly no road noise. The staff were very humble and helpful. It’s economical for the location and room size, and the price reflects the simple rooms. Overall, I was very happy with the stay. There’s also a 2 star quality multi cuisine restaurant across the road.
