The location was the only plus, and even that wasn’t exceptional enough to make up for everything else. The hotel was dirty, basic cleanliness was lacking, and the facilities were substandard. Staff were unfriendly and had a “pay and get out” attitude. Very disappointed with my stay. I wouldn’t recommend it or return. It should be zero for everything.

For an evening meal, Padma cafe is a decent choice. The bread and curry combinations are good.

The fish fry was a letdown, tasting as if the fish wasn't fresh, and at lunchtime it can be hard to find a table because the place gets crowded. Still, I've been to Q9 restaurant several times: the curries are tasty, the fish curry meal was pretty good, and their biriyani is good too. Service was good.

On 25.5.2023 I had lunch here, and the food quality felt very poor. The meal wasn't hot and came across like pazhamkanji. They seemed to use only the cheapest market vegetables, the tapioca was prepared like kitchadi, and the rice was wet with water. Poor management.

The service guys were really good, though the meal itself was only average. Everything comes on a banana leaf, even the biriyani, which arrived with raita, bitter lemon pickle and pappadam. The biriyani and fish fry were both just average, and the fish fry cost around Rs 200/-. They seem to have more kinds of seafood on the menu, but I haven't tried those. I had lunch at their restaurant today.
