The room was clean, the washroom was neat, and staff dealt with our complaints promptly. We were a group of over 80, and the dining halls had plenty of space for us. The hotel is a nice budget option close to Thyagaraja Temple, the Chariot, and the railway station. We didn’t try the restaurant, so I can’t comment on the food. Smoking guests could be an issue if you’re staying for a longer time, though that seems easy enough to address. We were on an upper floor, and the lift often wasn’t working well, so we usually took the stairs.

The restaurant wasn’t as active with vegetarian food as we’d expected, apparently because of a family function at the hotel. They only had veg fried rice and idly, but the taste was good.

The rooms were in very poor condition, and maintenance was bad. I booked one night, but they charged me for two. Be careful at checkout. I’d told them by 7 pm that my departure would be delayed, and they agreed, but when I stayed an extra 30 minutes, they charged me for a whole additional day.

The supervisor told us only three biryanis were available for our table, then served biryani to other tables at the same time. It happened twice. Customers paying for their own meals should be able to choose what they order, and being given a false limit is totally unacceptable. The service felt dishonest and manipulative.

The food had no good taste or quality, and the service was awful. They still expected bigger tips. Everyone seemed to be complaining about the food, but nobody was listening. One of the worst restaurants I’ve ever visited.
