Hotel Niya Regency

The food finally came after nearly an hour, and both the chicken biriyani and prawn biriyani were cold. We sent them back to be reheated. The garlic bread tasted more like khuboose, the gopi manchurian was stale and completely unacceptable, and the chicken curry tasted bad. Not one dish met our expectations. They also forgot the butter naan until we reminded them. Only the soup at the start and the butter naan at the end were somewhat okay. We were dining with family yesterday. We've been regular customers for a long time and have always loved the food, especially the seafood, so this was especially disappointing. We ordered two fish pollichathu after confirming all the details about the fish. After about 45 minutes, a staff member told us it was 1 kg, something no one had mentioned earlier. We had to cancel one order. Staff didn't communicate the information properly. We barely ate, just tasted the dishes. We told the staff this was the first time we'd had such problems here. They apologized, but it didn't feel sufficient. They took the fish and gopi manchurian off the bill, but still charged us for the rest, which felt unfair given the quality. I had posted a review yesterday and couldn't find it today, so I'm writing it again. I hope management takes this seriously and improves the food and service.

At Niya Regency, I paid ₹659 for the Fish Finger dish. That's almost twice what similar dishes cost at other bars and restaurants, and the price didn't feel justified by the quantity or quality. I'm very disappointed and hope management reviews its pricing policy and works on customer satisfaction.

A calm, well maintained place to stay. The rooms were neat and clean, and it was good value for money.

The cream chicken soup was the one dish that didn't quite match the rest. Everything else we tried was flavorful, well prepared, delicious, and satisfying. I had a wonderful experience overall. The ambience was pleasant, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant.
