Hotel Highway; Tinsukia

There wasn’t a single good thing about this hotel. The rooms smelled bad, with spiders, lizards, and cockroaches roaming around, and there were spit marks on the walls and plaster coming off in some rooms. Stray dogs were in the lobby. There was no electricity from 0130 hrs to 0330 hrs, and nobody at the hotel to start the generator. Breakfast was only roti and aloo subzi. The hotel claims to offer WiFi on aggregator sites, but there was none, and the bathroom had no hot water. The condition and service were worse than an average lodge. A big fraud.

The location is good, but the rooms aren’t worth the rate. They charged 4000 for a superior room, though the rooms weren’t much different, apart from the carpet. There was a lizard in the wall, the sofa cloth was damaged, and the wall paint was old.

Food and rooms were both reasonably priced, and the food was delicious. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff responded quickly with prompt room service. There’s a bar too, though it’s a bit expensive. One of the best hotels in Tinsukia town.

The rooms were like hell, and the staff were impolite. If you’re looking for a hotel in Tinsukia, I’d recommend choosing another one. This was the worst hotel I’ve stayed in.
