I was here for nine days on official work. The rooms were good, the bedding was clean, the hotel service staff were helpful, and Wi-Fi was provided at check-in. The restaurant on the ground floor is good, though according to Google reviews it isn't owned by the hotel. My two main reasons for giving three stars are the meal options and the breakfast. The hotel doesn't offer a MAP plan with breakfast and one complimentary meal. Instead, breakfast comes from another restaurant, and ours was very poor quality, badly presented, cold by the time it reached the room, and almost inedible. We tried to contact the owner with suggestions but weren't given the chance. Staff said these matters had already been discussed and the owner had rejected them. These issues may not matter to everyone, so don't hesitate to stay here otherwise. It would help to add a MAP plan with breakfast and either lunch or dinner, and agree on a meal limit with the ground-floor restaurant. Guests could pay extra above the limit, rather than being made to accept an inedible breakfast. A complimentary daily laundry allowance for a pair of clothes would be a nice bonus. Thanks in advance for considering these suggestions. ;)

The rooms are spacious, and the hotel is in a prime location in Tiruchendur. A small breakfast is included in the morning. Since it's directly opposite the bus stand, though, the noise can disturb your sleep. I was concerned about the water quality because it came out yellow. When I raised it, they said the tank had been cleaned recently. The hotel supplies only RO water in a bottle, not packaged drinking water.

The rooms were neat and clean, and the staff were friendly and polite, so the stay was very pleasant. It's a little away from the temple, but if you have your own vehicle, I'd stay at Guruchitra without hesitation.

For our Tiruchendur temple visit, we stayed at guruchithra. Getting to public transport of all kinds was easy, the rooms were clean, and the staff were cooperative, which made for a very good stay. Cleanliness could improve a little, about a 3.5 for me, and the toiletries could be better.

We were there from Dec 27 to Dec 28, 2025, with four rooms on the fifth floor. Even with small kids, the stay was comfortable and easy. The hotel is totally new, the amenities are very good, and the cleanliness was exemplary. Front office staff were helpful and cooperative. We'd like to stay again.
