The food is why I keep coming back to Courtyard by Marriott trichy. It’s excellent, and the head chef and restaurant team officer were so kind to pack food for our long journey. Sathya from the restaurant team deserves a special mention. He was incredibly kind, sweet, full of life, and so lovely with my child. He’s a real asset to the organization. I’ve travelled across the country, and I’m always happy to say this is the best. The rooms, service, hospitality, location, and food quantity are all wonderful. The extra care for elderly guests and mothers with infants is priceless. It’s an 11/10 for the hotel and restaurant. I’ll come again. It feels like home here.

Restaurant service was amazing, and the food was very good quality. The staff were friendly, approachable, and the service was brilliant. Special thanks to Ms Asna for being so supportive and understanding. We had an amazing stay, and I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a hassle-free, quality visit.

The buffet breakfast was great, with a good mix of local and international choices. The hotel has a beautiful lobby, friendly staff, and clean, comfortable, well appointed rooms. The gym was basic and not well maintained. When I visited, there were no towels and the rubbish hadn’t been emptied. It’s a small issue, but I wouldn’t expect that in a 5 star hotel.

As a Marriott member, I’ve stayed at this property whenever I visit Tiruchirappalli, so this experience was deeply disappointing. I’d asked a friend in Tiruchirappalli to book two rooms for me, but at arrival the check-in staff couldn’t find my name in the system and went to Reservation Manager Gaurab for clarification. When I spoke to him in Tamil, assuming he might understand since the hotel is in Tamil Nadu, he was extremely rude and unprofessional. I hadn’t been disrespectful, but he spoke to me in a dismissive, hostile way. It came across as discriminatory and showed a lack of respect for the local language and culture. That conduct doesn’t reflect Marriott’s values or standards. I hope management takes this seriously and provides better training in customer handling, cultural sensitivity, and professionalism, especially for managers.

The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choices, and the room was very clean and well maintained. Staff were courteous and quick to respond when we had questions or requests. One small suggestion, please check before clearing plates from the table. It was a really comfortable, fantastic stay.
