The one thing that worked well for us was the location near the central bus stand. The rest made our family’s roughly 10-hour stay disappointing. The fan regulator didn’t work, the TV was out of service, most switches were dead, and there wasn’t proper hot water. Breakfast was listed as complimentary, but it came in a small, tightly packed box served in the room. We were assigned a corner room overlooking the graveyard behind the hotel. The receptionist knew this and still gave us that room, which hardly felt hospitable. If cemeteries unsettle you, at least the bus stand makes it easy to catch a bus anywhere in Tamil Nadu. Whether to book here is up to you.

The Uncle and the young staff member made us feel at ease, even though I’d been worried about the language barrier. They went out of their way to help and gave us clear guidance for traveling to the Sri Rangam and Thanjavur temples, which made our trip much easier. When I asked for hot drinking water, they quickly brought a flask. I hadn’t expected that, and their kindness made it feel more like staying with family than at a hotel. A big thank you to Uncle and the boy for their hospitality.

The rooms weren’t bad, so stay here if you have no other choice. Customer service, hospitality, and the bathrooms were terrible.

It was quiet and peaceful, and though the hotel is a little way in from the main road, getting there was worth it. The underground parking had plenty of room for both cars and bikes. The reception staff and rest of the team were polite, professional, and helpful throughout. Our room was clean and well kept, with fresh bedsheets and a clean bathroom. The AC and other amenities all worked properly. A really good stay, and I’ll choose this place again.
