I felt uneasy staying there, and left as soon as the manager started shouting and using abusive language when I asked about the amenities promised by "Oyo". He then acted as if he hadn't said anything, and denied using a bad word in Tamil. Earlier, the morning manager had refused to accept my OYO booking or even look at the voucher, repeating his own explanation instead. I complained to OYO and was kept waiting for about an hour. With no other option, I accepted a non-AC room, although the booking promised AC and a TV. The manager also claimed he was police and threatened that a jeep would arrive within a minute to take me to the station if I argued. It was one of the worst experiences I've had staying away from home.
