OYO 1973 Hotel Rockfort View

The rooms were spacious and comfortable for a family, and the service was excellent from beginning to end. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious and well prepared, and the staff were friendly, polite, and ready to help. Housekeeping kept the room neat and tidy whenever I asked for it. I was impressed with how efficiently they handled the cleaning and the attention to detail. Rockfort View Hotel was a very satisfying stay. Highly recommended.

The location worked well for us, close to Namma Kaveri river and the major temples, and we could see Rock Temple from our room. There was also a kids’ play area, and breakfast had lots of tasty options. They packed food for my kids and provided milk, and anything we ordered from the live kitchen was freshly made. The rooms were big, neat, and well maintained, with a spotless washroom. Staff made the trip comfortable and were very friendly and helpful. Special mention to the receptionist, who was cool, polite, and lovely to deal with. Hotel Rock View felt clean, family friendly, and well managed. A wonderful stay, highly recommend.

The polite, hardworking staff made the stay pleasant, and the location is convenient for Srirangam and Rockfort Temple. There’s also a rooftop garden with a nice view. But the mattresses were extremely hard and uncomfortable, and rooms need proper tables for eating if you order food in. Furniture in both the restaurant and rooms is very old and looks abandoned, and even basic dining equipment, like the idli container, looked stained. The place needs a serious update to its furniture, dining equipment, and room amenities to be comfortable.

The price seemed reasonable compared with other hotels in Tiruchirapalli, and we were grateful to everyone involved. We held a lunch party for 32 people at Hotel Rockfort View, Tiruchirapalli on 07.12.2025, led by Mr. Anbuarasan, General Manager, and Mr. Kanakaraj, Restaurant Manager. They arranged a buffet with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, with signs keeping the dishes clearly separated. The table setup was appreciated by Mr. Kanakaraj’s team and our guests, and hot food kept coming throughout. There were vegetable curries, fish and chicken dishes, Rockfort special dum biryani, other non-veg varieties, sweets, ice cream, fruit salad, and plenty more. Everything was tasty and very good quality, like a three-star hotel meal. The trained catering team handled it effectively, and the staff appreciated it. We and people we know will arrange buffet lunch or dinner parties only through Hotel Rockfort View, Tiruchirapalli. Thank you very much. S. Selvarajan and team.
