I was so disappointed that I had to leave on the very first day. The owner showed little understanding of hospitality. I told him politely that I'd called housekeeping six times without getting a response, and he brushed me off rudely, saying they were “busy.” When I asked for a replacement kettle because the one in the room smelled foul, he told me to wash it myself with soap from the washroom. That's not something a guest should be expected to do. When I objected, he told me to “read the policies” and said that's how things work there. He also stopped to ask my age, which was irrelevant and inappropriate, and showed a lack of respect, especially in speaking to a woman. The way the owner and staff interacted with me showed no basic hospitality or manners. The place fell short of even the most basic standards. Avoid booking here. Maybe they'll understand the need to treat guests respectfully and professionally when people stop staying.

The hotel was good, though a bit expensive. Rooms were clean and matched what was shown on the website and Google Maps. Outside food isn't allowed, so you have to order from the in-house restaurant. The food was good, but too costly. I left my AirPods behind, and the room service staff handed them to the manager, who couriered them to my home.

The breakfast was called a buffet, but it came on paper plates with no proper cutlery, which felt cheap for a hotel. More broadly, the owner seemed focused on profit and wouldn't grant even simple requests unless he stood to gain money. He argued with paying guests, gave unsolicited advice, and treated us like students at a college with him as the principal. I left deeply disappointed. If you expect a relaxing stay and basic professional courtesy, look elsewhere; plenty of places understand customer service.

I expected basic courtesy for what we paid to stay, but there was no patience or respect when we asked questions. The staff at MINAS MANOR were rude and unwelcoming, and seemed more interested in making money than helping customers. Very disappointing. I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously and improves how the staff treat people.
