Sarvik Residency

I was exhausted after flying in from Sri Lanka, and the service from Mono and Annan at Sarvik Residency was exemplary. Mono walked a long way with me to find an ATM and shared his phone’s hotspot so I could get Wi-Fi and set up an eSIM. We later went out again for dinner and fruit. This morning he made a great Indian breakfast, dosa with dahl curry, and helped arrange a taxi into the city. Annan was looking after the other guests while that was going on. The accommodation was clean and well maintained, and I was very happy with how well I was treated. If you need a reasonably priced place near Tiruchirappalli Airport, this is a good option. Thanks, Mono and Annan, for your hard work.

The room was in poor shape, and hygiene overall was very bad. The bedsheets and pillow covers were dirty, and the pillow covers looked old. There was a TV outside, but the TV in our room didn’t work. When I raised it, they said the cable was cut, with no real response or fix. They also asked us to leave our slippers outside and provided none for the room, which felt uncomfortable and unhygienic. I booked through Agoda, where breakfast was clearly included, but after check-in they said it wasn’t available. Even for tea, they asked for an extra ₹30, which I found unacceptable. There’s no car park, so we had to leave the car on the road, which didn’t feel safe. No restaurants nearby made getting food inconvenient. One person there seemed drunk, and they used a mobile hotspot only for their own use. The management person spoke nicely, but it felt like just words instead of solving actual problems. This stay was disappointing and not worth the money. I won’t recommend it.

The location was okay, but the service was very poor. I paid extra for an early check-in, and the owner had told the staff to provide food, yet they kept making different excuses and didn’t give me breakfast. I let it go at the time. The next morning I asked again, and still they didn’t provide it, with more excuses. I was really angry. The room TV also wasn’t working. A very bad experience.

I booked and paid for an AC room through the app, but when I arrived they put me in a non-AC room and said AC wasn’t available. The staff didn’t handle the issue properly or offer a real solution. It was disappointing and unprofessional to get a room that didn’t match my booking. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. They should give customers accurate information and provide the service they booked.
