Treebo Trend Hotel Sripadha Residency

The rooms were clean, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was good. Breakfast was nice, though the menu is limited, and parking was manageable. A good stay for the budget.

This was our third stay at Treebo Sripadha Residency, and it was a real letdown after the clean, dependable visits we’d had before. As soon as we walked in, there was a persistent bad smell in the room. The bed and pillow covers were visibly dirty, too. The hygiene problems made the stay very uncomfortable and wiped out any positives. I hope management addresses the cleanliness, especially the linens, before we consider returning.

The staff made us feel welcome, and the room was neat. We had an awesome stay, with excellent service, and I’d love to come back.

The next day, manager Purushottam wanted ₹3000 for the cab instead of the agreed ₹2500, saying we had taken longer for darshan. Devotees can’t control the crowds or timing inside the temple, and he knew how unpredictable it is, yet he argued for more money. The driver, Jonny, also rushed us, didn’t know the Tirumala landmarks, refused to come close to the gates where we were waiting, and even made us skip dinner. We’d booked pickup and drop for Tirumala darshan, left at 4 PM, and collected our mobile around 11 pm. The service was rude and unprofessional. The room was tiny, filthy, and disgusting, with dirty linens and a cockroach. Breakfast was set out on the terrace under a tin shade, with uncovered sambar and chutney and no staff watching it. Completely unhygienic. It felt like the hotel staff, local cab drivers, and their network were out to loot devotees. They deliberately wouldn’t speak to us in Hindi or English, but spoke Hindi when they wanted to get money from us. The manager’s extra charge was unacceptable. The hotel’s facilities are one thing, but this cheap money-grabbing behavior is too much. Save your peace, money, and sanity, and avoid this hotel.
