My parents ended up searching for somewhere else to stay late in the evening, and the whole point of booking ahead to make check-in smooth for them was lost. I strongly advise people to think twice before booking here through an online platform. I also ask Booking.com to take strict action against this property or consider delisting it so other guests don’t have the same experience. On October 13th, I booked two rooms for four senior citizens, for October 20th to 21st, 2025. The booking was made by credit card, and I received confirmation both in the app and by email. There were no contact details online to reach the property directly and reconfirm. When my parents arrived to check in, they were told bookings made through apps were confirmed only if payment had been made when placing the booking. They said the rooms would not be confirmed regardless of what confirmation message we showed them. I’ve used Booking.com for many years and never had this happen. Once a booking is confirmed in the app, we should be able to contact the hotel and pay before check-in. From speaking with the reception staff, it became clear to me that they had ignored the Booking.com reservation and rented the rooms to walk-in guests at a higher rate.
