We got in late, at 10:30, and the owner looked after us really well. He quoted a fair price, and even corrected us when we thought the room cost more. He made us great Indian food, and breakfast was decent too. We came in the off season, but he still did his best for us. All in all, a good experience and a great start for the Khirganga!

A mountain cafe with good hospitality, great facilities for the area, and a lovely view. Brahma Cafe is a favorite place to relax and get away for a while. You can take in a breathtaking 360-degree view of the valley and soak up the scenery. Book a room on the top floor.

I keep wanting to come back to this guesthouse in Kalga. It’s a quaint, comfortable, clean place with magnificent views and appetizing food. Viru, the owner, is genuine and helpful. This is my favourite spot here.

The common balcony is a lovely place to watch the snow clad mountains for hours. The guesthouse is new brick and mortar construction, so even when it’s too cold outside, you won’t feel it inside the room. Bathrooms are modern and clean, and there’s decent WiFi. Rooms have good views and attached bathrooms. Kiran was very helpful and manages the place professionally. Anything we needed was just a WhatsApp message or phone call away. Food orders arrived quickly and on time, every time. The Nutella pancakes are great here! Staff are amazing and proactive. One of the best places to stay in Kalga, and I’d definitely recommend it for a comfortable visit.
