Hotel Triveni Trimbakeshwar Nashik India

We stayed three nights at the hotel, now rebranded as "Triple A," on the main road toward Trimbakeshwar mandir. Mohan ji kept things well managed, and the rooms were decent, with balconies, clean bathrooms, comfortable no-frills beds, good AC, and lighting that worked well. The WiFi was satisfactory, too. There are some drawbacks: the rooms urgently need pest control, the DTH recharge had run out so there was no in-room entertainment, and the kettle available on request didn’t work. Corridor noise from somewhat uncivil neighboring guests could be a problem, and an unpleasant smell from the dumpyard may reach the property when the wind comes from the east. Still, I’d recommend it for a short stay.

The location is quiet and convenient, near both the railway station and bus stand. The room and price were decent, and the bedding was okay, but basic amenities weren’t provided unless requested. The TV, AC, and geyser were there for show, none of them worked.

I paid 3,500 for a room listed at 3,800, but after I came back from parking my car, staff insisted the price was 3,800. They eventually agreed to the 3,500 rate after an argument. Service was poor, reception didn’t answer my call, and my request for toothpaste in the morning was refused. The floor hadn’t been swept properly, either. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to families.

The manager on duty in the morning was helpful, but the rest of the staff acted like letting us stay was a favor. I won’t recommend this hotel unless they overhaul the staff. We booked their costliest room, a Deluxe for three, and got a very hard extra mattress, an uncomfortable hard bed mattress, and a filthy thin sheet to use as a blanket. The room doors wouldn’t shut unless slammed with maximum force. There were no bathroom hooks or hangers, no exhaust fan or ventilation, and nobody available to help when we checked in. After several calls, a service boy arrived, rude as an annoying college professor. We asked for towels and were told they had none because the laundry person hadn’t come that day. We also asked for warm drinking water at night and were told they couldn’t provide it. We needed to bathe early for pooja, but they rudely said they couldn’t help. We arrived around 1:00am after our car broke down 8kms away at 11pm and we had it repaired. Since we had a booking, we called the hotel for help; they offered to send an auto but wanted 1000 rupees for the 8 kms. The rooms also didn’t look like the photos, just prototypes with fancy water taps. We were traveling with family, and the experience was very poor.
