We had a great stay and would happily come back. The location worked really well, breakfast was tasty, and our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful.

The checkout confusion really spoiled our stay. The website and online platforms showed 3 PM as the latest checkout time, but the hotel never told us otherwise, and we couldn’t find the checkout time posted inside or outside. While we were visiting the village, they suddenly called and told us to remove our luggage right away. We returned, and then they asked us to pay extra. After a lot of back and forth, they eventually waived the charge. The bedsheet was torn at every corner, too, and I’m sharing just one part of the experience. Avoid this hotel.

The food was lovely, and the staff looked after us so well. Ved gave us a warm welcome at Ashoor Guest House, right on the main road. I’d definitely return. If you go, ask Ved to guide you. He knows his stuff and really adds to the experience.

The people were friendly and helpful, and the food was really good. Try the Tawa Chicken or Methi Chicken. We were surprised to find rooms this nice for the price, especially somewhere so remote.

On our last day in Turtuk, we had dinner here at a table outside facing the mountain. The food was incredible, and they made us feel like family.
