Badigarh Palace Resort

The calm setting near Badi Lake, with the Aravalli hills around it, made this a lovely break from the busy city. We enjoyed the resort’s heritage-inspired design and the beautiful views. Our room was spacious and well kept, and the pool and outdoor areas were especially relaxing in the evening. Staff were always polite and quick to help. The food had plenty of tasty choices, and service ran smoothly. With its open spaces and atmosphere, it also seems well suited to family get-togethers or small celebrations. I’d gladly recommend Badi Garh Resort for a peaceful stay in Udaipur.

The lake is nearby, which is a good location, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The property felt dated and poorly kept, and our room wasn’t very clean. Getting clear answers from the manager was frustrating. We ordered two different fish dishes, and both were raw inside; when we raised it, the owner didn’t seem concerned or comment. We also asked how to reach the Bahubali hills hike entrance and were directed along a very dangerous cliffside route with our young daughter. We had to turn back. At best, I’d call this a two-star hotel.

The rooms were clean, the staff were nice, and we loved the views from the window. The location and atmosphere were both really good. Everything about our stay felt just right, and the hospitality was lovely. Thanks so much. We’d come back if we plan another visit.

We found the place cozy and welcoming, with pleasant lighting and decor. The food was a real highlight: fresh, well seasoned, nicely presented, and served in generous portions. Prices felt reasonable for the quality. Staff were attentive and friendly without hovering. It works well for a casual meal or a special occasion, and I’d recommend it.
