Itsy by Treebo - Eagle Inn

One of the rooms we were moved to smelled strange, so we refused it. In the first room, the fan was broken and hanging, there was a ladder, and it was dusty. After we asked for service, they said it would take time and gave us another room. They cleaned the first one, so we went back, only to find dust in the cupboards and a geyser that didn’t work. We requested another room, but the next one was no better. The tap diverter was broken, so we couldn’t turn on a tap, and there were dead insects on the bed under the blanket. Room service was late as well. We booked online for two nights after seeing the hotel had a 3-4 star rating. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The hotel charged ₹200 per person for just one hour at the swimming pool, though that fee wasn’t listed on MakeMyTrip or in the booking details. The booking also clearly included lunch or dinner, but on arrival the staff denied providing either and even told us to cancel instead. Their behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional, and felt intimidating. That’s far below what I’d expect from a property on the platform. We’ve been loyal MakeMyTrip customers for a long time, but this left us deeply dissatisfied. Please review the listing and take appropriate action, including removing the property if needed, so other customers don’t face the same problems.

I paid 3350 rs for one day, and this hotel isn’t worth even 500 rs. The shower in the room they gave us was broken. I visited on 28th Dec after booking through clear trip, with breakfast and dinner selected in the package. The hotel refused to provide either meal when I arrived. cleartrip tried to sort it out, and the hotel told them it had been discussed with me, but I wasn’t given anything. They’re looting guests.

We paid for a stay that included dinner and breakfast, but got neither. We tried calling the staff several times and nobody answered, not even at checkout. The service was pathetic. The staff were rude and unhelpful, and the owner was just as unprofessional. They seemed to have no concern for guest comfort or satisfaction. I’d tell people to avoid this place, it’s a complete waste of money and will ruin your experience. I don’t understand how it got a 4-star rating.
