Hotel Mumbai House Express

We had a humiliating experience at HOTEL MUMBAL HOUSE today. We went in to use the shared washroom and were also considering booking a room. There was no bin in the washroom, so my female friend came out with a used sanitary pad to dispose of it in a proper garbage area. Instead of speaking to us respectfully, the front office staff member, the man with white beads, shouted, “Don’t throw this thing in front of the hotel.” It was aggressive and deeply embarrassing, especially for my friend. We hadn't thrown anything outside. When we returned to reception, the same staff member rudely told us to leave at once, saying, “Ab niklo idhar se.” Menstruation is natural, and shaming someone for it is disgraceful. This behavior toward guests, especially women, is unacceptable. The hotel lacks basic hygiene facilities, professionalism, empathy, and respect. I strongly advise against visiting with female friends or partners, particularly if they're on their period. Hotel Mumbal House should be ashamed.

The staff were polite and helpful, and the service and cleanliness were excellent. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Cable and wifi were available, outside Zomato orders were allowed, and autos waited just outside. The hotel is accessible from the train and bus stands and a few sightseeing spots. If I'm being picky, the room and bathroom were small, there was no kettle or fridge in the room, and food service was a bit slow.

I've stayed here more than three times. The rooms are clean, prices are affordable, and the service staff are very polite. The food made in-house is good too.

The hotel is in a nice location, and the staff were very cooperative. I was happy staying here.
