The main advantage is how close the famous sights are. Bagore ki Haveli, City Palace, Lal Ghat, Virasat, and Jagdish Temple are all within walking distance, saving taxi or auto fare. The property is well maintained, and although the room was small for the price, it was okay compared with nearby places. The staff were polite and helpful. Irshad at reception gave us useful advice and a map with nearby must-see spots. Gopal was very good with restaurant service, and an older gentleman there greeted us with a very sweet gesture. I forgot his name.

The rooftop restaurant was a highlight for me, with good vegetarian food and breathtaking sunset views. The hotel is right by the lake, too, and it’s locally owned, unlike many of the city’s fancy places. Definitely worth supporting.

Those sunsets were amazing every single night. We also had a lovely stay at Jaiwana Haveli: the room and facilities were clean and well kept, and the food was very good. Thanks to the owner and staff for all their help, especially Gopal, who was so nice while serving breakfast and evening drinks.

The rooftop restaurant staff cooked for us like family, and the traditional haveli feel made the place special. We asked for a lake-view room, and Yash and Irshad welcomed us and made sure we got the best rooms available for that request. The rooms were beautiful and well kept, and the staff were welcoming. One of the best stays I’ve had in a while. I’ll definitely come back whenever I’m in Udaipur.

The terrace has a genuinely enjoyable lake view, and the property looks great from outside. Inside, though, the rooms are compact, around 10x10, and only about one of the roughly 24 rooms actually has the lake view advertised in the listing. I’d visit, tour a room, and decide in person before booking online, unless you’re happy paying a premium for very little space. The menu looks impressive, but the food doesn’t feel like good value.
