Lassi Guest House

We couldn't have asked for more. The staff were helpful, we were upgraded on arrival, and complimentary snacks were available in the library room. Breakfast was included in the £27 per night and came with plenty of choice and generous portions, which felt like great value. The guest house is just across the bridge, an easy walk from the old town's hustle and bustle. Had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend.

We had a lovely one-night stay in two Deluxe King Rooms. They were pretty, clean, and a fun experience, with modern washrooms. Service was great and breakfast was delicious. The guest house is a little outside the city, so it's quieter than downtown. But it's an old building with very limited soundproofing, and barking dogs and people playing music kept us from getting much sleep. Still, it was a very nice place for a night.

There's no noise isolation at all, so bring earplugs. The rooms are on the pricier side, but they're cute, clean, and tidy. Loca at reception seemed a bit quirky at first, not your typical salesy Indian, but he was super helpful and trustworthy.

Lassi Guest House was a great place to spend Diwali, and I'm glad we left Jaipur early for it. We would very happily return and recommend it to anyone. Staff were excellent, looked after us, and had useful local tips. Our clean room had more space than we needed, breakfast was great, and the location worked really well. It's a quiet little area, far enough from the potential chaos across the river, though easy to join in when you want. Restaurants and the bustle are only a 10-minute walk away, and just about everything you'd want to see is within walking distance. The area felt safe, as long as you're impervious to Diwali fireworks and bangers.
