OYO 23064 Mewar Darshan

Please be careful, this is not an OYO Hotel, even though it still appears in the OYO app. I booked through the app, but the staff refused check-in and said they weren’t part of OYO. They made us cancel the app booking, then charged a bit more for the same room. Since I arrived at 10:00 pm, I had no other choice. The place was extremely dirty and the staff were very rude. I reported it to OYO Customer Care, who said there had been some server error. Hotels around here show up in OYO, but are not part of OYO.

I booked a deluxe room at mewar dershan hotel in Udaipur through OYO, but they gave me a saver room. Only after a lot of arguing did they change it as a new booking, and they still haven’t refunded the amount from my first booking. I complained to customer care and the consumer forum, but got no response. The hotel was good, but book through OYO at your own risk. They’re frauds and cheaters.

We didn’t actually stay because, although the listing showed parking, it was on a narrow road that’s blocked most of the time. I can’t say anything about the service. If you’re bringing a four-wheeler, don’t choose this place. Look for hotels on the outskirts near the Udaipur railway station instead.

They’re trying with the service, but can’t offer anything great. The rooms are fine, and the tea and coffee were good 👍. Electricity and water problems, for no good reason, ruined the stay.
