I spent two nights at Krishna Royal Residency, and it was very disappointing. There was no complimentary water; when we asked for bottles, we had to pay. They also charged us for a toothbrush or basic toiletry kit when we requested one. The room hadn’t been properly cleaned, and empty whisky and beer bottles were left on top of the cupboard, which showed poor housekeeping. Any hotel should provide basic cleanliness and essential amenities, especially for guests staying multiple nights. This place needs serious improvement in hygiene, housekeeping and service. I wouldn’t recommend it to families or anyone expecting a clean, comfortable stay.

The manager’s behavior was also poor. This is a completely third class hotel, the worst in Udaipur. I wouldn’t even give it a rating; I’ve never seen a hotel like it in my entire life.

My booking through MyTravaly was never confirmed, even though ₹4,090.92 was charged in advance. I called the hotel owner to check and was told they had no collaboration with MyTravaly. The site never told me this, and when I tried repeatedly to reach customer support, nobody answered. I emailed several times and still got no reply about the refund or its transaction ID. The booking was for three nights, October 25 to 28, 2025, for two adults and one child. The invoice showed ₹5,251.50 plus ₹630.18 room tax and ₹309.84 service charge and tax, less a ₹2,100.60 discount, for a total of ₹4,090.92, all already paid. The booking reference was MTR252604718. I found this app through Google Maps while looking at hotels in Udaipur, and trusted the recommendation. I’ve been a Google Local Guide for nine years and contribute a lot of time, so this was a real disappointment. I’m asking Google to look into MyTravaly, remove the app or take action against it, and help me get my money back. Please also read the reviews on the Play Store. I’ve attached screenshots of my Local Guide profile and the booking invoice. Please don’t book through MyTravaly.

The bathroom was filthy, the bedsheet dirty, and the room itself hadn’t been cleaned properly. The front door lock also didn’t work right, which made the place feel unsafe. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it. Even if they offer you a free night, I’d say don’t take it. If this is the only hotel you can find in Udaipur, staying home would be better. Very disappointing.
