We paid 3000 per room and still got an unhygienic water bottle instead of mineral water. The room was nothing like we expected, and it spoiled our lovely trip. We had to keep asking for water, and staff still didn't provide it properly. We booked for AC and geyser, but those basic facilities weren't available when the power went out. The toilet leaked, the taps were jammed and broken, and both the room lock and bathroom door were poor, which left me wondering about security. The rooms were tiny. They called it a lake view, but what you get is a view of the cremation service ghat. Breakfast was just one poor-quality bread serving, without butter despite being called bread and butter. The photos make the place look much better than it is. The manager was rude, told us to check out at 12 instead of 10, and threatened to complain to the police.

The hotel is about 3 km from the main city, but I still found it worth staying at. The rooms were spacious, clean, and tidy, and the staff were polite, caring, and very good. I liked breakfast, especially the tea. A good stay for a middle-class family or a group of friends.

The location is great, but the staff were so unfriendly that they wouldn't help us with anything. It felt like a strict hostel with a strict warden. They wouldn't let our guests visit the hotel and told us to meet them outside. After checkout, we asked them to hold our luggage for 2-3 hours, but they refused, saying they couldn't handle our things and we should take them along. I'd rather stay in a dharamshala with helpful people. Hope this helps you make the right choice. Thanks.

The rooms were small and below standard, and they didn't match the pictures. They also weren't well maintained. Staff didn't listen when I raised room problems, even when there was no water for flushing or bathing. I wouldn't recommend booking here for a stay in Udaipur.
