The Hosteller Udaipur

The team is what made this stay so memorable. Yash Bhai was friendly and always ready to help, while Hari Om and Faizan Bhai made the place feel fun and relaxed, like being around old friends. Durgesh has the same easygoing feel, and the whole team, including housekeeping, was caring, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile. Chef Tulsi Ram Bhai’s food at the café was incredible. Try it and you’ll be a fan. The Hosteller is one of the best places I’ve found in Udaipur’s Old City. Gangaur Ghat, Ambrai Ghat, and Lake Pichola are all a short walk away. I checked out other places nearby, but to me nothing beats this one. The rooms and dorms are top-notch. Whether you’re traveling solo with a backpack or for work, I think you’ll be happy here.

The Hosteller Udaipur was clean, well maintained, and felt very safe. As a woman, I was completely comfortable there throughout my stay, which meant a lot to me. The staff were all welcoming and kind. I’d packed too much and was struggling to shut my bag, so Darvesh (I hope I got the name right!) helped me close it. It was a small gesture, but it showed how caring the team is. Yash, the manager, was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to help me plan and set up my trip to Jaipur. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. Great people and a lovely vibe, I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Udaipur.

The rooftop was a nice place to sit and relax. The in-house café could be better, though. There are several other cafés within walking distance with better views, prices, and food. The rooms were very small, and with the hostel right by the main junction, the constant honking made it impossible to sleep. This didn’t meet the usual Hosteller expectation.

I spent three days at the Hosteller and had a comfortable, enjoyable stay. The location made it easy to get to nearby attractions, and the common areas were lively for meeting other travelers while still being peaceful enough to unwind. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming. Staff were friendly, helpful, and ready to assist whenever we needed something. I’d definitely recommend it as a pleasant, affordable place to stay.
