The rooms were very good, and the location on the main road is excellent, with attractions within 1 to 5 km. Rates are reasonable too. A couple of things let the stay down. Basic items like toiletries, a dental kit, water, and tea or coffee supplies were provided only if we asked, even though they should have been there by default. The restaurant is reasonably priced, but service was a mess. Waiting times were extremely long, the meal package had very few options, and the choices felt restrictive. Breakfast took 2 hours, wasting valuable tour time. At dinner, we waited one and a half hour for half of the items we ordered. It’s worth considering if it fits your budget, but I’d skip the room meal plan and order from their affordable a la carte menu instead.

We stayed for 3 Days and found it easy to get around from here. City palace, Hathi Pole, bagour Haveli.... And more are accessible from this location. The rooms and staff service were great. Book for Bindas. There’s also a private rooftop Restaurant.

You can get around to the tourist spots easily from here. The hotel sits in the middle of the city, very close to the railway station and near the main market at Bapu Bazar.

We were allowed to check in at 3 Am and leave 3 hours late, with no argument or extra charge. The rooms were good too, nearly as nice as they looked in the site images, and hot water was available all day. A great option if you’re after a budget hotel.

Back when I was a student at RCA from 1977 to 79, Parkview was my preferred restaurant. I had lunch and dinner there on a monthly plan for Rs. 125/- per month, with one veg meal and one non veg meal daily. The food was excellent, and I remember the cool atmosphere, dim lights, and old songs of lata mangeshkar.
