We got room 203, the same Mahakaal temple view room I had asked the owner for before booking, thanks to the staff and owner. Since the hotel is so near the temple, we could hear the night prayers and early morning rituals, including basam Arti. That sound is a dream for every Shiv Bhakti. The room was clean, spacious, and well maintained, and the staff were courteous, friendly, and very helpful. The location also made it easy to visit Mahakaleshwar temple and other local attractions. I had a good stay.

My parents slept well during our first stay here. It's a quiet, budget-friendly place close to Mahakal temple, around its back side. The toilet was especially good, neat and comfortable, with no bad smell, water logging, or faulty taps or toilet seat. Everything there was perfect. The curtains need washing, and the toilet doors and tile sides should be painted or cleaned regularly.

The location is tucked inside a colony, so finding a Toto or auto for a temple visit may be difficult. If you’re coming for Bhasma Aarti, the hotel is at least 2-3 km from the gate where entry is allowed. The bigger problem was the booking: I was promised a room, but it wasn’t available when I arrived. They offered early check-in as compensation, then gave me a different room from the one I’d booked. Mr. Hemant, an early check-in doesn’t make up for not receiving the agreed room. The owner, who has rated his own property 5/5 in the reviews below, was arrogant when I raised this and said it shouldn’t be a harassing situation for us as guests because he had allowed early check-in. Pathetic.

The room had a great view of the Mahakaleshwar corridor. Service was good, and they let us check in early. It’s about 10 minutes from Ujjain temple.

We stayed last night and had a very good experience. The room was spacious and clean, and the hotel was really nice to stay at. I’d suggest it.
