Heritage Homestays

The rates at Heritage Home Stay are very reasonable for the comfort and service. I come to Ujjain often, and it's still my first choice. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, with a real heritage feel, and it works well for families, couples, or solo travellers. Each visit has been a good one. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a peaceful, homely vibe. Staff are warm, helpful, and prompt, which makes you feel valued. The restaurant's food is freshly made and delicious, with good quality and service.

I had a really bad stay at Heritage Stay, Ujjain, and wouldn't recommend it unless the hygiene, cleanliness, and treatment of customers improve. There was construction going on, with constant noise that made it hard to rest. The room wasn't clean, and the bedsheets didn't seem fresh or clean as expected. The most unacceptable part was finding a lizard dropping in the mouth freshener. When I complained, staff spoke to me disrespectfully and said, “If you don’t have money, then don’t book.” That was insulting. Avoid the Rs 2000 superior rooms. Zero star hotel.

Aayush, the manager, made my visit to Heritage Home Stay, Ujjain especially good. He was attentive, warm, and went out of his way to make sure everything was right and that guests felt at home. The rooms are spacious and spotless, with modern comforts and design that reflects Ujjain's culture. The building and interiors also have a lovely old-world heritage character. If you're visiting Ujjain and want comfort alongside tradition and thoughtful care, this is a great place to stay.

The staff were cooperative and even arranged an auto for us at 3 AM during my Mahakaleshwar trip. Food quality was good, and the rooms were clean, neat, and spacious. There's a large lobby, Wi-Fi on every floor, and a lift too. I had a really comfortable and convenient stay.
