The staff and owner were very humble and cooperative, and I loved Bapu Ki Kutia restaurant nearby. The premises and room were very clean, and there are good food options close by. Really fantastic experience.

It’s a reasonably priced hotel, neither very costly nor especially cheap, with decent rooms. We did spot two cockroaches, and the solar hot water wasn’t very hot, but otherwise there wasn’t much of a problem. The complimentary breakfast was good. There are plenty of decent places to eat nearby. The location is very good, though the temple is 4-5 km away, so you’ll need to take an auto to get there.

After a long day visiting temples, our group could relax and recharge at Hotel Kshipram in Ujjain. The family-friendly feel and tasty vegetarian meals at Amrut Bhog made it a game changer for us.

For the price, it’s a very decent hotel, and the area nearby has some good eateries. Mahakal temple is about 6 km away, with a one-way E-rickshaw ride costing roughly 200 to 300. I found this a better option than the hotels close to the temple, which are mostly more cramped homestays.

The upkeep is terrible. There were no towels or door mats, and the staff behaved very badly.
