The food was genuinely very good, the property is beautiful, and the lychee mocktail is worth trying. Still, our dinner on 10th May 2026 was a mixed experience. The restaurant was full when we arrived, so a wait of around 10 minutes was understandable. Once seated, they said food would take 15-20 minutes. We agreed and asked them to bring it as soon as possible because we had a train from Bhopal to catch. We ordered at around 9:20 PM, just regular food for four people: dal, paneer, kofta, and rotis. It finally arrived around 10:15 PM, nearly an hour later. The delay was manageable, but staff behavior was the real problem. We repeatedly asked if they could at least bring the dal and rotis first so we could eat quickly and leave. Instead of helping find a solution, they argued and kept saying they'd already told us about the delay. When we asked for the bill as we were leaving, staff started cleaning the table and argued that they'd do that before bringing the bill. It felt unnecessarily rude and arrogant. I'd ask management to train staff to stay polite and solution-oriented in situations like this. I come from the service industry too, and handling customers calmly makes a big difference.

The location and atmosphere were very good, and the rooms were okay, but service was PATHETIC. The whole team treats this hotel like a DHARAMSHALA instead of a CLUB & RESORT. No amount of politeness, saying please, cajoling, or trying to be understanding was enough. The staff will test your patience, so people should STOP coming and choose somewhere else. I feel for the new Operations Manager, who has a difficult job getting the staff to meet high standards. They're used to MEDIOCRITY & LESS THAN THAT. My pilgrimage visit to Ujjain was good, but the hotel did nothing for my happiness or satisfaction. Just avoid it and stay somewhere else.

At Rudraksh Club and Resort, the staff were rude and unhelpful, and our experience was very disappointing. We arrived early in the morning and could see that rooms were vacant, but they still wouldn't allow early check-in. At 6 AM they wanted to charge us for a full day, then said check-in at 7 AM would only be possible with a half-day charge. That made no sense. They also said complimentary services would only be available after 9-10 AM. The whole approach felt rigid and focused on money, with no courtesy, flexibility, or respect for guests. Highly not recommended. There are far better hotels with more professional staff and guest-friendly policies.

The food and hygiene were the only good parts. Staff were very unprofessional and showed no interest in helping guests. They seem to prioritize wedding guests, while treating non-wedding guests as if they don't matter, as though those guests are staying for free.
