Hotel Mahakal Aashray Ujjain

I’ve stayed here twice, mainly because getting to mahakal mandir is so easy. It takes about five minutes to reach the temple. The rooms were clean, and the staff were polite and cooperative.

We were there as a family with a child and luggage, and being put on the top floor made the stay really unpleasant. I won’t forget the experience. Please give priority to guests who booked earlier. The staff even refused to give us a towel.

Once you’ve paid, getting help seems hopeless. I booked two days through goibibo and tried to cancel the second day, but the hotel refused rudely. When I asked for fresh bedsheets, staff said rudely that this was how clean sheets could be. Parking was listed as an amenity, but there was none, and we had to walk 1 km from smart parking with our luggage. It was hard to find, with a dirty entrance, dirty sheets, walls rotting from leaks, and a tiny, dirty bathroom. The shower tap was broken, water in the sink stank, and staff were rude for no reason. The pictures and 3.8 rating seemed fake. Worst stay of my life.

The temple is very close, so the location worked well.
