The staff were really polite and helpful, and there was plenty of parking. I was surprised by the 24/7 hot water, which came in handy. The place was extremely clean and comfortable, with useful things like cupboards, hangers, and a tea kettle. I also appreciated the proper white lighting instead of those annoying yellow lights. It made our Ujjain trip feel relaxing.

Shyam Stays Inn was a comfortable, good-value stay in Ujjain. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the hotel is newly built. Service was quick, and the staff were polite and ready to help. There's parking, and the peaceful setting seems well suited to families and devotees visiting Mahakal Temple. Highly recommended.

It was quiet and peaceful, a nice place to unwind after a long day, whether travelling for work or leisure. For the price, it felt like good value and a comfortable, hassle-free choice.

The room cleaning was the weak point. The staff didn't clean properly, and towels and other things weren't provided unless we asked. The front desk was helpful, though, and the hotel itself was good in most other ways. We had a spacious Premium Room for two nights. The room and bathroom were good, and breakfast was limited but tasty, with different options on the two days. For the price, it was acceptable. There's no restaurant, only tea through room service. The hotel is walkable from the main Ujjain-Indore Road and about a 15-minute ride from the railway station.
