I felt comfortable and secure in a quiet, spacious room, and the bed was very comfortable too. Everything was spotless and well cared for. AC, Wi-Fi, TV, and hot water all worked properly. The staff were welcoming, polite, and professional from check-in through check-out, and housekeeping came promptly. I had a great stay and would happily return or recommend it.

Mayur Homestay is in a peaceful spot, but still close to the main places in Ujjain, and it felt like good value for the money. The hosts were so welcoming that they made us feel like family. Our room was clean, cozy, and well maintained. The home-cooked meals were simple, fresh, and delicious, with that real homely feel. A great option for solo travelers or families visiting Ujjain.

The host was supportive and very helpful throughout our stay, and the place was clean and hygienic. Easily the best homestay in Ujjain, in my view. I recommend it to anyone visiting.

What made Mayur Homestay stand out for me was the hospitality. The owner helped me plan my tour, shared useful insight about the holy city, and treated me with real respect. He even offered mango pickle with breakfast, which I’ve loved since childhood. The food was saatvik, healthy, and tasty. The room was clean and looked very good, and the homestay is right in the heart of the city. I’m a solo bike traveler and had ridden from Navi Mumbai to Ujjain. A couple of commercial hotels I checked were either full or beyond my budget, so I came across Mayur Homestay by chance while riding along an alley. I called the listed number, and the owner answered right away. After a few questions, he let me stay and showed me around the room in a professional, respectful way. He really treated me like an honored guest. If you want a home away from home and a taste of Indian hospitality, I’d recommend staying here in Ujjain.
