I’ve been returning to this very home-friendly hotel in Ujjain for 10 years now. The rooms are neat, clean, and hygienic, and what they provide feels fair for the money. Do visit Ujjain for baba mahakal ‘s blessings and book a room here.

The staff behaviour was outstanding, especially Mishra ji, who helped me a lot. I had a nice stay at Hotel Ramkrishna ujjain, and otherwise everything was good. There are two problems, though: no lift, which is a big issue for anyone with a leg problem, and hot water is only available from 7 AM in the morning, with none after the afternoon. That’s really frustrating. I’d ask the owner to provide a personal geyser in every room.

We found it peaceful and comfortable for a family stay during our visit to Ujjain. The food was really good, the rooms were clean, and the staff were courteous. Highly recommended.

Rooms are suitable for the budget, and the railway station is right outside, so getting in and out is easy. There’s a nice restaurant downstairs. In the evening, look up on the streets and you can watch flocks of birds dancing overhead. A handy spot to drop your bags, freshen up, and bow before Mahakal.

The rooms are really good, and the location is the best, with everything nearby. My only gripe was the bill: even when a meal bill is over 2-3k, they don’t leave 10-20rs rupees off. They also charged 20rs for packing the food on top of a total bill of about 2200/-.
