The rooms had plenty of space, but there were lots of technical problems, including broken curtains and flickering lights. Room service was slow to respond, and the breakfast area even refused a basic item like tissue, which you can get at a roadside hotel. The kitchen and F&B staff were the worst part. With better hospitality training and management that focuses on guests, the stay could have been much more positive, especially given the premium price.

Breakfast was a waste of time, and this doesn’t feel like a 4-star hotel or resort. The bathrooms all seem to have some problem, room service was poor, and they didn’t even have small towels. The staff seemed to be passing time instead of taking the work seriously. A dharamshala might be better. To me, this is a third-class property, more like a marriage palace than a hotel. Please don’t come here.

I spent two days at Mansa Club Resort in Ujjain for a marriage function. The resort looks grand on arrival, with an impressive scale, spacious layout, and lovely ambience. Its pool is the standout: greenery surrounds it, and the lighting at night makes the area charming and relaxing, a nice place for family and friends. The rooms are large and comfortable in terms of space, but the maintenance problems are obvious. Furniture and fixtures need attention, especially the bathrooms. The toilets had almost no flushing water pressure, which made things inconvenient throughout our stay and undercut the otherwise premium feel. Food was below average for a property of this size. The taste, variety, and service all need work. The TV was also pointless without an active channel subscription, when you’d expect entertainment options at a resort. Mansa Club Resort has potential thanks to its location, design, and atmosphere, but maintenance, washrooms, and food quality need serious improvement before it can be among Ujjain’s best. As it is, it looks appealing but fell short on comfort and the overall experience.

The food was very poor, and they don’t even have a set menu. Staff behavior wasn’t good either, and the towels felt like cheap desi stuff. The room price is far too high for the service they provide. I’d simply tell everyone not to come here.
