OYO 28791 Hotel Ghunghat Garden

It's better to stay at the neighbouring hotel, The Anjushree. I did, and it was a much better option. This newly built marriage home on the Ujjain road is marked at the wrong location on Google Maps, and calling it a hotel feels misleading because it lacks basic amenities. My room on the third floor was spacious and nicely furnished, but it wasn't clean, and the lift wasn't working. They didn't provide hygienic drinking water, and even the manager was rude. There was no kitchen to make breakfast, so we didn't get the morning breakfast listed under OYO rooms policy. In the end, this marriage home was pathetic.

The rooms are decent, but they aren't cleaned, and the AC leaks. It's far from the city, and local convenience costs more given the location. One night is okay, but I wouldn't stay longer. If you're on a tight budget, it may do, though I'd look for a better place.

There was no breakfast, even though I was registered through OYO, and they had no toiletries. They charged for a Bisleri bottle that had been filled with tap water. When I asked for the OYO manager's number, they gave me a fake one. No hospitality at all.

The garden view was lovely, and the manager was friendly. The rooms were very clean, with a quite soft, thick bed, and the bathroom had air freshener. Good service too.
