The room seemed okay when we arrived, so we went to sleep. Around 1 o’clock, small insects were all over the room and in the bed. One even got into my ear. We had small children with us, so it felt very unsafe. Customer service was poor as well. We had a bad stay and wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Please see the attached photos, and don’t visit.

If there were a rating below one star, I’d choose it. They took our money, then refused to let us check in on the day of our stay. This was a terrible experience. Please don’t book this property.

The owner, Mr. Patidar, and receptionist Laxman asked me for another 600/- because I’d booked through oyo at a low price. They then refused my check-in because I’d gotten the deal for 600/- only. I’d give this hotel zero stars.

There was little privacy because the place was noisy. The linen and towels were dirty, and there were no proper cleaning or sanitization protocols. We had a bad experience staying at this Oyo property in Ujjain.

The room was small and looked nothing like the pictures. It smelled of cigarette smoke before we even went in. There’s no elevator, and getting to the room meant climbing very steep stairs.
