The refusal at the property was the worst experience I've had in India so far. I booked through the internationally recognised Booking.com and arrived with my Indian wife and our five-year-old, only to be told no. The person there said foreigners weren't allowed and that only Indians could stay. My wife spoke to them in the local language to make sure nothing had been misunderstood, but they still told her no. I don't know if I'll get my money back either. Booking.com says the property told them I never showed up, and I've already spent time and money getting there. The service was appalling from start to finish.

The location didn't seem very good, and there aren't many amenities outside the hotel. My partner and I came from the UK and were turned away at the door because, they said, they don't accept foreigners. Booking.com had taken the payment and confirmed the booking, but the hotel wouldn't listen and repeated that no foreigners could stay there.
