Hotel Veronica

The rooms are comfortable and kept clean, and the staff are polite and helpful. I’ve stayed at Hotel Veronica several times for work, and it has generally been an easy, reliable place to stay. Dinner is the part that’s gone downhill for me. They used to have a buffet, which I preferred. Now it’s an à la carte menu with per-person Silver, Golden, and Diamond options. The menu says you can choose a starter, but the chef decides what you get. Hara Bhara Kebab, Manchurian, and Crispy may be listed, yet you can still be served something else. I hope they make the choices more flexible.

The central location in Vadodara is handy for both work and leisure. Food has decent variety and is good, though it can take too long to arrive. Room service is prompt, and the staff are courteous.

Mr. Pankaj Singh really knows his way around the kitchen. Everything he made was delicious, and the Hara Bhara Kebab was the best starter I’ve ever had. One of my best meals at this hotel.

That dinner moment on my first day stuck with me. I’d had a big lunch and barely ate, and a staff member noticed and asked if anything was wrong or if he should send dinner to my room. That kind of care meant a lot. The staff were welcoming throughout my 2-day stay, always smiling and looking after us. I saw the lobby display saying “Away from your home, into your own home,” and it really did feel like my own house. The food was one of the best experiences I’ve had away from home, especially compared with places I’ve stayed across the West Zone. The rooms were neat and comfortable, though the restrooms could use a bit more attention. Wonderful stay, highly recommended.
